AlmaHelp Association is to improve the animal health and wellbeing and to control stray animal populations sustainably by goal-oriented spay & neuter projects.
Association’s programs help to prevent the spread of diseases from animals to humans. We are guided by the desire to make a change in animal welfare both in our home land Finland as well as in developing parts in Europe.
We want to connect & inspire veterinary professionals to participate and to bring their own contribution to animal protection work. Sterilisations are at the core of our operations.
We work closely with local veterinarians and NGOs. We aim to improve animal conditions locally. AlmaHelp Association also wants to influence the legislative affairs to promote animal protection within the EU. Our vision is that in the near future EU funding for problem areas of the most important tools for these sustainable and humane population management – sterilisation.
